The Annual Sporting Clay Shoot Fundraiser, hosted by SCMEF for the second year in a row, was a resounding success. It was an epic day, with plenty of fun to go around.
The hand sanitizer and social distance signs scattered about the grounds at Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve were the only evidence of the pandemic, and all of the shooters that showed up on this beautiful May morning were happy to be amongst friends again.
We drew the same number of shooters as we did at our last shoot (155), and 25 companies participated by sending teams and purchasing sponsorships. Thanks to their generosity, SCMEF achieved its fundraising goal, making our mission of supporting Sacramento State's CM Students and the department possible.
The Stats: 25 companies, 31 teams, 155 shooters and 16,737 shots fired!
