In the Region 7 competition, the Heavy Civil Team captured a 2rd Place win. The Electrical Team returned to the podium once again also capturing a 2rd Place win. The Mixed Use Team also got a 2nd Place win in the competition. The Design Build Team snagged 3rd place in their field. And finally, the Concrete Solutions Team took 1st place in the national competition. Sac State students, Dave Fuerte and James Bresnahan were also on the team that took 1st place for the Alternate Problem.

SCMEF works diligently to engage industry partners in the CM program to provide a learning environment beyond the classroom by arranging job-site field trips, coaching student teams for the ASC Student Competition and providing internship opportunities for students during the summer.
